Jose Borghi’s Journey in the Advertising Industry

Jose Borghi is an entrepreneur and the founder of Mullen Lowe Agency. He is famous for developing creative campaigns like the Mammals of Parmalat, an advert that created significant impacts in the minds of most Brazilians. Borghi is a native of Prudente.

Borghi’s educational and career history

Borghi developed an interest in advertising while he was in junior high school. He began thinking of advertising when his sister invited him to see a performance at the Castro Neves Theater. The presentations made in this concert sparked his interest in advertising. Upon graduating from high school, he enrolled for a degree in advertising at PUC. He started his career in 1989 at Standart Ogilvy as an editor.

He has also worked for DM9/DDB, FCB, and Talent & Leo Burnett. He later established his firm, BorghiErh Agency together with his partner, Erh Ray. Ray and Borghi started out small and grew their company into one of the leading advertising agencies in Brazil. In 2006, they sold their business to Lowe, and it was renamed to Borghi Lowe. Under the management of Borghi, the company expanded its operations to the international market. The company later merged with Mullen Group becoming Mullen Lowe. Borghi was made the co-chief executive officer of the corporation and learn more about Borghi.

Borghi’s other achievements include the Fiat campaigns for the Down Syndrome Association. He has also played a fundamental role in campaigning for award winning companies, such as American Express, Honda, Asia Motors, and Folha. Borghi is a recipient of various awards, including 7 London Festival Awards, 14 Cannes Lions, 15th April Advertising, and the Ten one Show Awards. He is involved in various women empowerment campaigns. Borghi’s company has always participated in a variety of public awareness messages.
